The Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG)
In accordance with article 103 of the MDR and Article 98 of the IVDR, the Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) was established. This panel of experts, composed of persons appointed by the Member States on the basis of their role and expertise in the field of medical devices, including in vitro diagnostic medical devices, advises and assists the Commission and the Member States in the uniform implementation of those regulations.
